Who may borrow books?

All residents of Fayette County, as well as anyone with an Access PA card from another library, may apply for a free library card. Non-residents are charged an annual fee of $5.00.

What can I borrow?

The library has over 20,000 books, 200 audiobooks, 100 DVDs, and 50 magazine subscriptions available. We can usually obtain anything that we don't own with a week or two.

How long can I borrow it for?

Most material circulates for two weeks and is renewable for two additional weeks. DVDs circulate for one week, and neither DVDs nor CDs renew.

After that, overdues are $0.10 a day on most materials, $0.25 a day on books borrowed from other libraries, and $1.00 a day on DVDs.
